HOT TAKE: The Raiders NEED TO DRAFT This Quarterback…

Could the Raiders be eyeing Alabama QB Jalen Milroe in the upcoming NFL Draft? His dual-threat abilities and leadership under Nick Saban have caught the attention of scouts, and he could be the spark the Raiders need at quarterback. Pair that with a potential coaching shake-up—if Antonio Pierce doesn’t stick around, Todd Monken, the offensive mastermind behind Georgia’s back-to-back national championships and current Ravens OC, might be on Mark Davis’ radar.

In this video, we break down:
• Jalen Milroe’s 2023 and 2024 season stats and why he’s a perfect fit for the Silver and Black.
• Todd Monken’s offensive philosophy and how it could elevate the Raiders’ talent.
• What these moves would mean for the team’s identity and future.

What do you think, Raider Nation? Is Milroe the answer at QB? Could Monken bring the Raiders back to greatness? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!

  1. I like jalen milroe but definitely in second or 3rd round he is basically a anthony richardson he needs to develope his short to intermediate passing he ok at reading the field he has a good deep ball he has the most potential in this class i would like to get bpa (mason graham dt, will johnson cb, mcmillian,) and in the third draft maybe even 2 rbs my favs are nick singelton cam skattebo in that 3rd round area

  2. Well, you certainly are right about this being a hot take. I dont like any of it. We dont need a scramble first QB like Fields or Milroe and I would shy away from Monken and his coaching style. I would prefer one season with AOC as the starter and build the team by addressing other needs (WR, RB, Safety, Corner, linebacker, DT). No one likes to admit this but the Raiders are weak in a lot of positions (Moerig is a good run stopping safety but he is fried chicken in coverage like Jack Jones. Outside of Spillane, we have no one. Outside of Wilkins, all we have at DT is old Adam Butler. My point being is that we should address other weakenesses and see what the 2026 QB class looks like. If AOC aint it and AP is still the coach, we'll be a top 10 pick team again).

  3. Be aggressive and get Sanders and OLinemen. There's a lot of talent in this draft. Whatever the Raiders doesn't please do not draft Ewers.

  4. Na, no time to wait on a QB prospect! It’s either trade up to get one of the top 2 QB’s are just wait till 2026 draft class of QB. Fields also a No Go!

  5. What an awful take. Have you learned nothing from watching Minshew this season

Let's get a worse quarterback who can go more off schedule he says

  6. This is NOT the year to draft a QB! The QB class is terrible this year! Draft the best available non RB build the OLine and the Secondary. Why skip on RB in the first round? Because this year is the opposite RB class of the QBs, it is STACKED all of the RBs that will be taken in the first three rounds are all good.

  7. Will Johnson/Mason Graham/Adbul Carter in the first that’s not for debate arguably some of the best talents in the entire draft and aren’t reaches. Pick up Jaxson Dart in the Second. Pick up a Tre Harris or Evan Williams or go the RB route and pick up Quinton Judkins or Treyvon Henderson maybe Hampton if he’s still available orrrrrrr pick up Xavier Watts and a Guard. Maybe Damien Martinez might be there in the later rounds with Kaleb Johnson or Cam Skattebo. Everyone here wants what other YouTube content creators want and watch 0 film and or watch highlights. They forget Milroe can’t throw the ball and has a rocket of an arm he’s exactly Joe Milton except Milton wasn’t drafted highly and hasn’t produced anything in the NFL. I seen Dillon Gabriel thrown around. I just saw this guy get completely destroyed in every aspect by Ohio. I’ve seen Darts worse games and dude continues to drive his team down put the game on his back really reminded me of 2016 Carr when he needed to make a play he’d make it. If we can have that guy I’d take that over all these other guys. As far as the first round getting Jeanty he’s a very average looking back compared to his peers. I just saw Cam Skattebo run all over Texas. Would Jeanty have done that? I don’t think so. I saw Quinshon and TreVeyon run circles around Oregon. I think that select a RB in the first needs to go away. We need guys like Brock Bowers the BPA. Ain’t no way we should be reaching anymore. We’ve become a poverty franchise because of it. Go back to seeking talent over position of need.

  8. If we draft him we wasted a pic. If he didn't show anybody who he is in the bowl game where he has a good offensive line receivers on both sides are running back. What are we doing?
