Dolphins In Depth: Victory over Jets will deliver fifth straight winning season

The Miami Dolphins head up to New York with the playoffs still in play, but must beat the Jets without Tua Tagovailoa to give themselves a chance to qualify for the playoffs. Miami might also be forced to play without Pro Bowl left tackle Terron Armstead, who is nursing a knee injury, and Isaiah Wynn, who was placed on injuries reserve earlier this week because of his back injury. Will Miami find a way to end 2024 by delivering the franchise’s fifth straight winning season?

  1. Vrabel's interviewing with the Jets this week. Seriously, how f**king clueless, ignorant, and soft is the Dolphins' organization?? They coulda had Vrabel in the building a month ago assessing everything. Mike McDaniel vs Vrabel? Are you kidding me?? Bahahahaha!! The Dolphins have no chance. Zero. #emptyhardrockstadium

  2. #emptyhardrockstadium2025. It's over for this regime. GM, coach, qb all oughtta be gone. Grier and Ross have run this franchise right into the ground. McDaniel is in way over his head. I hope the home stadium is empty until we see significant change from top to bottom.

  3. You notice that Waddle is hardly talked about. To me he has never been a true #1 receiver. Dude is allergic to the end zone, especially for someone who is supposed to be a speedster. Look at Williams for the Lions, dude is always getting a touchdown and he's the number 2 or number 3 receiver on the team, if you count the tight end. Time to move on from Waddle. Unfortunately it might be difficult with him coming off an injury.

  4. Once again our franchise QB is not available for a late season playoff push. Tua is a good dude but just too fragile. If we fire Grier the new GM needs to start over at the QB position. Bail out after 2025 on this Tua project.

  5. Another weak take from Omar. Guess he never heard of DeMeco Ryan, Raheem Morris, Antonio Pierce, Jerod Mayo, Todd Bowles. All African American head coaches with a defensive background four of the five hired as first time HC in the last two years. Anthony Weaver will be a top candidate for HC openings as will Bryan Flores.

  6. Brian Flores was 10-6 with a roster that was the worst of the last 3 McDaniel years. The same team where Tua was forced into the lineup by Ross and Grier and then Tua admitted he didn't even know the play book. It's all on record. And the. Tua blamed Flores for being mean to him. Flush it down the toilet. With McDaniels 2-16 record against winning teams in the last 18 games. It might be 3-15. But it's about right

  7. Everyone should remember that in the first jet game they literally handed Miami the win on a silver platter and gave it to them. If it wasn’t for extremely poor coaching by the Jets, they would have easily won that game. This game is not going to be easy.

  8. Only Omar can hate on a guy who went 22-266 (84.6%) with only a couple of days notice (because the QB Omar insisted MUST get a contract extension can't stay on the field). I can only assume that Omar thinks Huntley stole his woman. It's ridiculous Tua puts up the same stat line and Omar wants to retire his jersey.

  9. Question 🙋🏽‍♂️ why would we even want Tua to play if we make the playoffs?? He’s no hero. Tua playing if we make the playoffs gives me absolutely zero hope that we’d have a better chance of winning. ESPECIALLY if we have as many injuries as we have. Those are all the excuses that Tua usually has. Let’s just skip all of that, and try something different and prepare Snoop and Skylar.

  10. Omar is such a hypocrite. If Tua had a game like Huntley did against Cleveland, he would have praised Tua. Omar defends every sack and INT that Tua throws. He’s fresh out of excuses when it comes to QBs that he likes less than Tua. 🤦🏽‍♂️
