Lots of this type of history in MLB. No, it doesn’t excuse the Astros a few years ago. The sooner MLB moves away from pitchers and catchers using finger waggling to exchange signs the better.
Never understood why they go to such lengths to forbid this. Just allow all clubs to do it. Way easier to level the playing field and prevent any one team like the Astros from having an unfair advantage and tainting the sport
Remember when Altuve didn’t want anyone to rip his jersey off after a walk off home run?
