  10. Darnold is key to get through the playoffs and winning this game. My only thoughts are every time we go against the Lions is not to get injured, intentional or not. I feel getting the number one seed is a must; that NFC team would have a huge advantage.

  18. I do have to say that at least from a fan standpoint, the Wilfs have been pretty damn good owners. After growing up with Lynn and the gang and then the McCombs Purple Pride days it's nice to just see ownership you don't really think about because shit is just run pretty well. They invest in the team (yes there is public money) but they have ponied up comparatively and the ticket thing is a nice gesture. I was bummed when the Harbaugh thing happened and at the time I was contemplating their competency but I guess I can shut up about that now. Good job guys. Please keep it up.

  20. Bro…I'm THE football fan in my circle, and I run with Vikings fans. Every Christmas, Birthday, it's Vikings memorabilia, no complaints, I love it. But I started believing the hype, thinking to myself, "Yeah I'm a knowledgeable football fan." Then you drop some knowledge bombs like this, talking about teams acting broke, guaranteed monies in escrow, rad vs crappy owners, and it quickly reminds me, I really don't know shit lol.

  24. Yeah, I'm sick of hearing about the 85 Bears' defense or even 2000 Ravens', those defenses won't be able to stop modern day and rules that favors the offense in today's game. Heck, for those old enough to remember, the 85 Bears' defense got shredded when they played against a modern day type of offense when faced the Dolphins that year. Marino and his receivers put 38 points against that defense. And had the Dolphins didn't choke in the AFC Title Game, they would've won the Super Bowl in 1985 and no one will know about the 85's Bears.

IF the Vikes fall short of being NFL Champs this year, I wonder if Flores will be highly motivated to stick around to see his work with the defence is 'completed' (i.e. become the #1 defence in the league and win it all..). Now, you may be thinking that Flores has won the SB as DC a number of times, however in Belichick's regime, I am sure the success was never totally Flores' doing (talent selection, game plan & play calling). In contrast, it appears that Flores has pretty well 100% autonomy under KOC, meaning that every success of Flores' defence is truly part of Flores' legacy. Furthermore, when Flores does get a HC job, he will be forced to delegate some responsibilities to his DC, so his legacy as a defensive genius is 'tainted'. BTW, I am NOT saying that all of this is an ego issue. It's more a matter of Flores seeing his vision coming to fruition & establishing his legacy as one o the great defensive minds in NFL history.

  34. Also, let’s not forget the fact we didn’t have Hockenson playing the last time we faced the Lions and now we do so that’s another top player they have to contend with.
