[Reed] Pierce said he doesn’t expect to make changes to the #Raiders’ coaching staff, but Las Vegas will have to at least conduct searches for their offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach vacancies due to the Rooney Rule.

  1. Seriously? He is keeping Scott Turner? Oh sweet Jesus… it never ends.

I fully expect Pierce to be fired 6 games into next year….

  2. Graham isn’t under contract, so he’s probably gone. So two new coordinators potentially. But sure, let’s keep AP for consistency sake.

  3. Keeping the ST coach is the most damming part to me. Special Teams were a mess this year.

  4. So if we fired AP, got a new HC, and that HC went 4-6 wins, do you one and done that HC as well? Do you just keep firing HCs if they don’t get a playoff birth. You need some stability. You can’t just keep firing HCs every 1 to 2 years.

  5. So nobody watched the presser then and are taking this at face value? He said he still had to get together and talk to Telesco and was pretty tight lipped on anything to do with the coaches.

  6. Not even joking when I say this, I don’t think we can get any lower than where we’re at right now.

  7. This guy is the Compton version of Eberflus, we are fucked a nepo baby owns the franchise instead a big brain mf with deep pockets like Steve Ballmer

  8. The team slogan no longer is “Just win, baby”.

It’s “Just don’t be the worst team, baby”.

If this season was good enough for everyone to keep their job, then the standards for the franchise have reached an all time low and there are problems with the team that go beyond what I was previously willing to accept.

It has become clear the problem all along is the owner and that is the one thing that can’t change unless something miraculous/highly unlikely or tragic (god forbid) happens. So this misery will continue for the foreseeable future.

What a sad and embarrassing day to be a Raider fan.

  9. I’m done underestimating how stupid Mark Davis is. I’m just gonna assume he eats paint chips instead of potato chips.

  10. It’s just sticking with the 21st century model. Get to the playoffs, then go a decade plus before getting there again.

  11. Y’all were saying all year “2025 tank for Arch” but now that Mark Davis is doing that, y’all are mad?

  12. Think keeping AP for one more year is more realistic on the teams timeline. We’re not in a position to turn things around quickly. Might as well keep building the team via draft and free agency before going all in

  13. Give turner a chance. He was scapegoated in Washington and has been calling plays out of someone else’s playbook ffs. if the best coach in football history has interest in him id trust that more than any of you armchair analysts ripping him

  14. So new coordinators but no new HC. I already foresee the excuses for AP next year. Que them up now

  15. This sub is so happy that we might get the #1 pick in 2026! Hopefully we can get it in 2027 too.

  16. I’ve always and will always root for this team but last 20 years feels like I’m rooting for the Washington generals of the NFL. Hopefully before I die they will be a good team again

  17. He didn’t say that. Ppl need to just watch the presser. He didn’t say much of anything other than he’s meeting with Telesco and will go from there. Otherwise, he’s not making any tangible decisions.

To me he acted like he thinks there’s a 60% chance he’ll be fired. But who knows. I don’t hate the guy, and I get tired of hitting the reset button year after year, but no one would be surprised if he was fired, would they?

  18. Yeah. We’re gonna be mediocre and just barely above being awful enough to tank

  19. This is the ‘continuity’ you mental midgets asked for?!?! This is your guy? This team is so fucked.

  20. If he wants to bring that offensive staff back, fire AP. I’ve been on the fence, but I’m on the “Fire AP” train now, if that’s who he really wants to lead our offense.

  21. I don’t even mind AP getting another year as much as I mind the fact that we’re gonna be in QB purgatory again rolling out some hodpodge of AOC+Insert stopgap(Cousins,Winston, Jones)+ late round flyer

  22. Dig up Dan Rooney and hire him as offensive coordinator. Would that satisfy the rule? Can’t be worse than the existing offense.
