I love Rempe and I want to see him get his chance and it stick but he has to learn to be an effective grinder/enforcer that adds value. He makes himself far too expendable because in all honesty I think he’s better than Edstrom.

Edstrom isn’t great, but he ups his game by feeding off of Rempe (and Carrick, too), the few times they’ve been on the ice together.
Not at all. Rempe gotta keep it clean. He’s a bigger guy with a reputation. He is going to get called for the less egregious stuff, so he has gotta learn to get his hits off clean. The dude could be a real threat if he can hit clean, take fights when needed, and be pest in front of the net. Plus, idk about you, but I’d rather him not be in this locker room. Can’t be good for morale
This could just be roster management with injuries we don’t know about. Rempe will be back. Let’s not forget he drew 3 penalties (should’ve been 4) last game. 2 on great scoring opportunities that he worked hard to create. He will definitely d. Sick.

Seeing how many people here actually thinks this means forever explains a lot about how trashed this sub is now lol
Love a lot about Rempe’s game and the his first two periods of the last game he played were by far his best yet, but it’s clear at this point he is incapable of learning discipline. They have given him enough chances and he should only be given another if they have no other options, IMO.
