Charlie Lindgren had to spend intermission periods vomiting the other night as a goalie because of the flu and walks away with a huge win, but baby Laine has the sniffles and has missed three games.
Huge one tonight…which probably means we fall on our face. But MAN would love to take this one.

Decided to check in on our old buddy Emil Bemstrom. Pretty much a ppg player in the AHL for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Surprise surprise.

As both a Browns and Jackets fan, playing in Pittsburgh is the absolute worst.
CBJ hasn’t won there since 2015. And the Browns haven’t won a regular season game in Pittsburgh since 2003!
Through 40 games, the Jackets have scored at least six goals on nine separate occasions.
That only happened 8x in 2023-24 and 5x in 2022-23.
All we need to do is put up six on the Pens and we’ll be golden.
When was the last time we beat the pens on the road? 10+ years ago?

I’m not one for saying 1 game will make or break your season but I feel like this is that game.
A win in Pittsburgh for the first time since 2015 and to have us move into a WC spot would be like dropping a match into some gasoline for this team

D men, you are next……
I hope I’m not setting myself up for disappointment, but I am really looking forward to this game. The Pens have hammered the Jackets on so many occasions both with outright beatdowns but also late game comebacks that have been crushing over the years. Most of the time the Pens were the outright stronger team and higher in the standings. Now the Pens have taken a step back but with Sid’s never die attitude they are not giving up. On the flipside, the young Jackets are also hanging in there and playing above expectations. It’s the middle of the season and this is an important matchup and perhaps a bit of a statement game. I hope the boys come out and play their best 60min of the season.
