That was a rough loss to take after we were leading and struck first too. Takeaways: Bread-Troch-Laffy line started producing! Hallelujah! Everyone else though was silent. Fun line looked good. 4th line looked good. Loved Eddy’s hustle out there. Mika looked better too. There are some positives but we still act dumb when we have a lead. Our defense just implodes. Really hope Fil is ok.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 We can’t afford to lose him now. We’re scoring but now we need the D to tighten up and stay strong. Rempe is off suspension! Yay! Onto those pesky Devils. Curious what the lineup will be – do we get to see Kaliyev? What about Igor off IR? I really want this team to get Quickie his 400 sooner rather than later. Figure out what went wrong and fix it for Thursday. Until then! LGR!!
Oddly enough, i texted my hockey group that having zibby and lindgren out at the same time was the kiss of death, I was not wrong.
Outside of this, we got a point, so there’s that, but losing Chytl to the upper body injury is a huge bummer. We lose so much speed and creativity without him in the lineup, and i really enjoy watching him play with pace.
I was at a bar for Trivia night and thus had to record the game. My recording cur off shortly after Dallas tied it up late in the third.
How did we look going in to OT, and how regarded was Panarins hooking penalty? Was it a “good penalty to take” or was it his tpical ‘i got beat so may as well hook him’?
I’m fine with them going but it’s going to be kind of funny when our D still pulls the same shit without Lindgren or Miller.
Same people said booting Trouba would fix the problems. Obviously they were more systemic but we just kind of gloss over that elephant

Silver lining here is that Mika seems to be heading in the right direction.
Did they miss a too-many men penalty on Dallas first goal? The crowd reacted and Rangers all looked confused — but no idea what happened cuz Sam and Joe/TV crew didn’t notice.
That OT penalty was an awful call. Panarin made a good play stick on stick.
Im shocked a reporter actually asked about Miller being the cause of the 4th goal and being put out immediately. Lav Of course had nothing important to say but I hope reporters keep asking shit that makes him uncomfortable

Is it just me, or are Millers major mistakes standing out more than most? Is it just the timing of them? It feels like he consistently makes a detrimental mistake costing the game more than anyone else.

I hate to say it because I like him and when he’s on, he’s so good. But. Chytil needs to go. He gets hurt too often. Similar with Lindgren. They’ve never played a full season.
The kandre miller experience. That is the exact mistake he always makes. Loves lazily going backhand back to forehand so unnecessarily when he’s being pressured on the forehand side and thinks he has way more space. Especially when the easy outlet was up the boards. I don’t understand how he makes the same unforced error almost every other game.
I’ve seen teams suck before, but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.

Vally said we are 30th in team defense. He didn’t need to say it out loud, it’s glaringly obvious and the fact it is not addressed in any way for almost 25 games is disgraceful.
