2. The Canucks already turned down a blockbuster trade the Rangers offered them, with Mika as the main player going to the Canucks. Only Mika and JT's name's were dropped as part of the blockbuster package the Rangers put fourth in front of Vancouver. The Canucks are now looking at Brock Nelson from the Islanders. So the chances of the Rangers an Canucks making a trade is very unlikely. So Mika did waive his NMC clause but the Canucks turned down the trade. At the very least it shows, that Mika is willing to waive his NMC.

3. Some issues with salvation coming through trades:
   1) Rangers usually lose on trades. They are bad at it.
   2) Anyone imagining that some team will trade its stars for our castoffs is living in Cloud Coo-Coo Land. Likely they will demand the young ones – Cuylle, Schneider, Bedard, Jones.
   3) Last night the Rangers led 3 – 0, then 4 – 3 with 3 minutes left… and lost. Where do we trade for killer instinct…pride…hunger to win?

4. I just dont see why the canucks would even entertain getting the swedish DJ , he doesn't fit that system at all, especially for miller , i could see them wanting k miller or laf or someone but zbad i dont see it.

15. The Rangers are just not playing good hockey. The defense are running around like a chicken without a head defenseman and forwards. It's not a talent an issue they have enough talent to finish toward the top of the standings like they were in the first month of the season going 12-4-1. The main issue is the system which they have none but don't get me wrong the roster needs to be changed up as well. The coaching staff has made no adjustments that have worked it's been the same ole same ole crap. But before we make any coaching changes and roster changes the first move I'd make if I were Dolan is to hire Messier as president of the Rangers. Drury has no one above him and that's where Messier comes in. Drury now reports to Messier. Messier can now hire the next coach where Drury has failed three times now. The coach needs to come from outside the organization my choice is Joel Quenneville. Yes I understand his recent past but if he's allowed to coach again thats who i would hire. He will bring discipline and a presence behind the bench something we haven't had since Iron Mike Keenan. I would rely on Messier's and Quenneville's vision over Drury any day of the week. With the coaching in play they now can change up the roster and bring in players that can finally get it done.

21. It is lunacy to think that JT Miller is better than Mika , he has about 30 more playoff games and around 20 something less points. There is a reason why jt Miller is not a New York Ranger right now. I hope this is just gas bags needing something to talk about because you never go back we need to go forward. If it isn’t Brady Tkachuk why would we move on from Mika? Because he’s had a bad run percentages will tell you he’s about to have a good one right behind it. And if he starts to fizzle for the rest of his career, I’m still not sold that it’s any better with Miller. That’s the type of thinking that gets a general manager in the media business. 😂 the fact that it is even a conversation is insane to me. JT Miller is a borderline asshole or cancer to his team. Mika might not be as greedy as you like, but guess what he is liked by his teammates. This is not a video game. This conversation doesn’t even make sense in my mind.

22. Kaliyev is the poster boy for Drury's incompetence. He's not a 200 ft player & he's totally one dimensional, which is why LA put him on waivers. I recall watching him when he played for the Hamilton Bulldogs and wasn't impressed at all. I remember saying at the time "I hope the Rangers don't draft this guy." Sure he has a great shot like Kakko, but he is not a physical, dog like player. He's what we used to call a river hockey player when I was a kid. Skates like hell on the attack & loafs on the way back. At least Kakko learned how to play defense at the risk of offence, but I doubt Kaliyev has made that leap. Desperation move that will fail over the long term. Mika is almost untradeable at this point. If Rangers want to trade him find out what teams he would waive his NTC for & then go to work. As for Kreider it has become obvious that he has been plagued by back problems since training camp. Would you trade Chytil for Miller? I bet the Canucks would make that deal. I would try to pry Bowen Byram away from the Sabres. Would Mika go there? Probably not. As for Borgen, he seems to be getting better every game, so maybe sign him to a 2-3 year contract instead of offloading him at the deadline. Miller & Lindgren are the guys to offload at the deadline. FIRE DRURY & LAVIOLETTE!!

    I can't think of anyone on Rangers other than Panarin that is worth it

    And why would Vancouver trade their forwards, they are having Goal and Defense issues.

26. They need to trade Miller he lost that game last night for the Rangers.
    Wide open with the puck and can't make a decision which way to clear it until the forward is directly on him and then gives up the puck.
    And then Sam and Joe want to sit there and say what a great play that the forward made meanwhile it was pure stupidity by Miller.
    And to be truthfully honest I don't even think you could trade Miller at this point he is that bad. You might as well just let him go.

28. The Canucks are a barely a wild card K.O…Why would we waste the cap on Miller, when much better players are available this off-season, and next. Laf isn't being moved. It's time to embrace the fact that this season isn't salvageable, and act accordingly.
