  1. NHL is for sure targeting him. The fact that Sam Bennett can take the butt end of his stick and drives it into someone's face, yet no suspension says it all. Also Sam Bennett did the exact same play last year in the playoffs.

  2. You can just see it in his head when he's talking, just a huge bulldozer trying to figure out how not to fuck them up too bad. He's a smart kid, he'll adjust.

  3. Brian boyle would be a good guy to talk to about this. Wasent as phyacial as rempe but he did use his body in a safe way. I shook his hand once and he has huge hands. He has to know how to use his body effectively without hurting anyone.

  4. This is so horrible that they’re picking on this kid. I’ve seen many hits this past two months and with game misconduct, and nobody even comes close to a suspension that this kid’s gotten.

  5. Rempe is 100% correct in two things he said here. You see guys try and turn and duck out of the way at the last minute, and that he's a marked man. Unfairly so IMO. The league needs to also start holding these guys accountable for purposely turning and putting themselves into a vulnerable position as a hit is incoming. They do it on purpose.

  6. He will turn a new leaf especially taking so much heat and coming back and mastering more hip checks. Sure he's a big guy but I do feel like the league has honed in on him and not as a whole(ie plenty of other players who lay huuuge hits with 0 repercussion)
