This team desperately needs more pure shooters. That breakaway pissed me off. The fact that Smith pulled up rather than taking a shot tells me all that I need to know. Some players on this team have zero confidence in their shot. I know we have elite players with good shots like Panarin and Mika, but they still prefer the second option.
That’s why I’m happy with the addition of Arthur. Keep his offense the way that it is and improve his defense. No more passers, I want snipers. Also, I’ll give a nod to Brett, he’ll rip it on a two-on-one. He’s got that swag.
It was a good win. A must-have win. That’s all really.
I said it in the GT, on Tuesday I made borscht for the first time. Not from a can, but from scratch. Bread and Igor played tonight. Bread scored, Igor got the win.

The Rangers are now 17-4-2 when Rempe is in the lineup. They are 4-0-0 against the Devil, specifically. And, he made it through the whole game. Didn’t even take a minor penalty (probably should’ve drawn one too).
Both teams looked so different compared to the December matchups, I thought the devils looked kinda sloppy tonight (and I loved it)
Can’t really say much bad about this game. They deserved to win it in regulation but there’s something about an OT winner that brings the team together. Igor looked solid, Markstrom is no joke. Just happy to do the Rick Flair whooooo in the face of the Devils fans sitting next to me for each Ranger goal.
First game I can remember in forever that the Garden had some energy. And a $100 four leg parlay win to boot.

Had genuine excitement this game. And last game as well for a bit. I think they might be on the rebound.
Not consuming *that* much hopium, though, I know things are still going to change and we’re still likely not going to be a playoff team.
But I don’t care if the year is still a wash. It’s just nice to win a game and even better when it’s against the Devils.
