If you’re not a fan of what the Dodgers have been doing for the past 5 years, you’re going to be even more upset that Joe Davis is our play by playing announcer.
We have the best players at almost every position on the field, one of the best managers in the game, best front office, scouting and minor league and oh, by the way, the best announcer too.
Amazing replacement for Joe Buck on Fox!
Joe will always have my heart and with the greatness of the bulldog. Very astute indeed!
I keep mixing him up with passan
He’s such an underrated football commentator. There’s so many promos where you hear his voice. I can’t wait till Brady and the other guy bounce so him and Greg Olsen are the #1 for football on Fox.
He’ll be one of the greats when it’s all said and done. Definitely a worthy successor to Red Barber and Vin.
Dude is the top dog and by far the best in the biz, but the big moments might have overwhelmed him a bit last season. He’s openly talked about how he doesn’t love the 40/40 call, and the Game 1 Grand Slam was nearly perfect from the set up but the “Gibby meet Freddie” line was a bit awkward. I’m sure he’s gonna kill the upcoming season tho which should have even more iconic moments.
Don’t sleep on Steven Nelson he’s been on sportscenter recently
I just want to take a moment to recognize another hero in the Dodgers organization: Dieter Ruehle.
I’ve seen MLB games in: NYY, TOR, LAA, SEA, PHI, SD, MTL and BOS.
I’ve seen my fair share of NHL games and a few NBA games (when VAN still had a team).
Nobody has made me smile and got me into a game like Dieter did.
