1. Yeah, because Sean Payton’s been around the league for such a long period of time to the point where he knows when it comes to Aaron Glenn. He knows coach Glenn is ready to lead a team in the NFL. Almost like “real recognizes real” in this scenario.

18. Payton if he thought glenn wasnt ready or didnt believe in him would not have said anything publicly bc he obviously likes him. The fact he spoke publicly means something, bc honestly what would he gain by lying?

    Does that mean Glenn will excel? No. In the end , that will all be up to him,mougey and if they can keep woody, brick the dick and hymie the robot away from football decisions and if his instincts and coaches are right.

    And i agree with Ian, I think that Parcells and Peyton would have told him to decline the Jets if they felt he wasnt ready. Especially parcells,who has experience with woody and the jets, isnt going to put a mentee into something they think they cant handle. Take it from me, if peyton or parcells had reservations they would be quiet.

21. Jet fans praising Payton is a bit of reach. They are gonna praise him because he likes Glenn. But Payton was villifiedwhen he had negative comments against Hackett. In other words, speak positive we love you but if not your persona non grata.

27. It really doesn't matter what anyone SAYS about anything really. It's all just talk. Aaron Glenn is hired, he's the head coach.
    The Jets are still Bent, Crooked, and Twisted. Rodgers In, or Rodgers out, there is no long term winning culture success residing there, IMO. Some Mock drafts by mo mo's have the Jets getting "a steal" with some edge rusher. This Bent maligned organization needs to LASER focus on their below average O Line!!!
    Let alone, that the QB position is still basically VACANT, if you are talking about developing a Winning Culture and sustained success of at least a decade. And the Jets have less than their normal allotment of draft picks as some were traded away like typical Jet losing maneuvers. IMO, if they were really trying to develope a winning sustained culture, the Jets need to fleece the NFL by acquiring draft picks and future draft positions with some of their big name hyped "superstars" and "stars" they own now.
    But we all know that Sir Woody ain't getting any younger, SO, he will obviously try to "Win Now" and "Develope a sustained win culture" AT THE SAME TIME. It Can't be done! period
    IMO, Mr. Aaron G will be forced to try to win now, and build the winning culture at the same time. THAT,….IS,….the reason why any established NAME head coach would NEVER even consider this Jet 50 year debacle. Like Jon Gruden said…." Nothing good happens to the Jets"( paraphrasing).
    With the shared 800 million with the NY GIANTS in Met Life Stadium, Woodster and the Jets are STUCK.
