Imagine if the Yankees put as much effort into smart free agency signings and remembering how to score runs in the World Series as they did this video.
Honestly the Yankees lack of urgency to get major league players to play in the infield has killed my excitement for the season. Even after missing out on Soto, I felt good after the Fried signing and Williams trade and the hope they would do more to bolster the lineup. But they are content being half assed because they just made it to the World Series and the AL has mostly been complacent, while the Dodgers, who just won the World Series, are going for the kill shot by signing Snell and Sasaki. It’s just depressing to me that they are content that they finally made it to the series after 15 years and don’t care that they were embarrassed once they got there.
