Can I make a suggestion?
Return Marte & Nimmo to the one hole. Marte vs Lefties Nimmo vs rigties both proven leadoff hitters.
Lindor had his second best season with Cleveland in the two hole no?
Soto In the three hole with either Alonso or Vientos behind that.
Alternatively to be honest vs righties? I wouldn't mind starting the game Nimmo/Soto
These two guys to open a game is just torturous for opposing pitchers to think about, they are so patient, it would be a waste not to use them back to back.
Love the confidence and biased from mark. Let's get real though, other then Senga when healthy is a elite, a true ace/number one, after that manea? Had a solid year last year, great postseason, but can he duplicate what he did? hasnt since he was the ACE for the A's, that's was a very very long time ago, after that? Peterson? Question mark, I'm not sleeping on him I'm hibernating till he wakes me up, no offense, clay homes? Project will see, montas wish him back in good health but there is a lot of questions. Can't win a ring without pitching, especially a solid bullpen, what is the point of have a great offense if your SP or your bullpen gives up the lead? That's just my opinion.
I think the Phillies offense exposed a hole in their game in the NLDS versus the Mets in 2024. And the hole will transcend onto this season. Other than Harper, Shwarber & Turner they have no other good reliable bat. Braves are the only team I’d worry about if I’m the Mets.
Did he say this is the last one? Did I miss the rays?
The Mets have a great lineup, but not much pitching depth
