  1. I’m sorry there is a correlation between the eagles drafting Jalen Raegor over Justin Jefferson. To now having 21 scouts and drafting extremely well. That’s a front office that learns from their mistakes. The bengals are simply too incompetent, stubborn, or cheap to change. Mostly it’s all three.

  2. Once again Bengals paying the price for shitting the bed in last years draft. Interior onlineman everywhere and were cocky enough to not take a single one 😂 it’s not hindsight 20/20 we knew it then. But hey we got Jermaine Burton

  3. Could u guys do a small segment on the sports illustrated article on the Bengals draft history between 2021-24? It highlights how atrocious this teams been at it.

  4. The viper is a hybrid position on the Notre Dame football team that combines linebacker and rush end. It's a defensive end-outside linebacker spot…

Al Golden referenced this in an interview. For reference, this player type is basically Micah Parsons ideally (6-4 250ish).

They absolutely can take a player who fits this mold in the draft or free agency.

  5. In Daniel Jeremiah’s top 50 there were 4 offensive tackles and 3 or 4 guards in there. They need to draft Booker is he is there the guard. He is a cont miss prospect. He will be on the Pro Bowl in a couple years. IF Booker is not there at 17 they definantly need to get a DT. They need to get a DT in round 1 or 2. And I would draft one of those Nebraska boys Robinson or Hutmacher in round 3 or 4. Yes they need 2 DTs. They have 2 DTs on the team. The Bengals aren’t going to get a TE or a linebacker at 17. More likely to get a linebacker but I do t see it happening. They need a guard, 2 DTs, Rb, TE, LB. That’s 6 picks. That’s what they got. You are forgetting about Akeem Davis Galther. Bengals locked him up for 1 more year. More than capable of starting. He may blow our socks off and we will be like Why wasn’t he starting before? Probably because of the coaching staff. The former staff. If we cut Pratt we got Wilson, Gaither, Njongmetta, Heyward. That’s 4. We draft 1 there is 5. Then we fill in the holes with UDFa’s maybe a real cheap veteran. We need 5 LBs for the season. Njongmetta I have a great feeling about him. I think he is going to turn into a great player. Gaither has always been the fastest LB on the team. Pratt ran 4.57 Gaither ran 4.51. Then again Myles Murphy also ran a 4.51 at 273 lbs. Myles is going to be just fine guys. He needs to coaches to believe in him AND HE NEEDS TO PLAY! Lou would t plays any rookies if he had his way. That fine but when you Vets age out you got a bunch of young guys who haven’t played. It ridiculous. I would start either Tycen Anderson or Dajhan Anthony or CTB at Free safety. I ain’t drafting one and I ain’t signing one. We have 3 potential people who can play there. Anderson is a freak athlete. And they had better resign Jooseph Ossai while they still can. Bengals front office is going to look weekly fucking stupid when Ossai has 10 or 11 sacks next year for the Colts or some other team. They could get Ossai right now for 2 years 8 million dollars probably. Maybe 5. Although he outplayed Chase Young last year has the same amount t of sacks and more tackles in less snaps than Yojng and young got paid like 12 mil last year. Ossai is still only 24 he turns 25 this summer. I would keep Ossai and Cam Sample. That’s 5 edge players. Yea I would bring in some competition but I feel great about Hendrickson, Ossai, Murphy, Johnson, And Sample. I would give Ossai wherever you were going to give Hubbard. I would bring Sam back for 2.5 mil take it or leave it and he would not be on the field on third downs. He doesn’t need to be on the field in obvious passing downs. I love Sam and he is good against the run still but I’m sorry I’m not keeping and almost 30 years old for 10 mil when I could take that 10 mil and give Ossai 6 of it and Samole
3 of it. Sample is versitile as fuck too. The Dude has 5.5 career sacks and 4.5 of them came from him playing inside. At 3 tech or 5 tech or 1 or 2 tech even. I would tell Sample to get Jo to 285 lbs. I don’t know if Zach doe s this but with the Saints Sean Payton weighed players every week. Some to make sure they were heavy enough for some to make sure they were t too heavy. Although from my understanding it was mostly to make sure offensive defensive linemen and LBs were not under weight. I often think what Jackson Carman could have become if he was allowed to play the only position he ever played in HS and College. Not all college tackles can transition to guard. In that playoff game on Buffalo in 2022 Carmen looked awfully good at Left tackle. From what I remember he gave up
    0
Sacks and maybe 1 pressure the entire game. Also we got Jaxson Kirkland coming back. That dude is a beast. Can play either tackle or either guard spot. I could see him as a starting LG. And we get a free agent RG and not even getting a guard in this draft. If I was going that route the only way I would draft a lineman is if for some reason Will Campbell fell to us. Campbell is a foture All
Pro who could play LG for us for 2 years and then slide over to LT for the next 10 years.

  6. I agree with James on the interior OL. They better answer that question in free agency and you can get plenty of proven guys who could develop into good pros like Xavier Truss or Cooper Mays. There are guys who played good football in the SEC that people are just assuming won't test and measure the best.

  7. There isn’t much of a plan for many of these players because the organization doesn’t seem to have a larger strategic vision to drive drafting or free agency and trade decisions and there isn’t the OBSESSION with winning a Super Bowl that would lead to organizational behavior change.

  8. In addition to both sides of the interior line. Not too many places the Bengals could not use help. Todays edge rusher has to have explosive speed and power, and some Kung Fu hand work. Trey's Kung Fu is the best . Who Dey

  9. I’m interested in seeing
DL – Walker, Swinson, Umanmielen, Alexander, Nolen, Harmon, Peebles
DB – Watts, Morrison, Starks, Winston Jr, Mukuba
    G – Belton, Ratledge, Mbow
TE – Fannin Jr, Taylor, Arroyo
    RB – Skattebo, Gordon II
    LB – Campbell, Schwessinger

Bengals better keep a close eye on these guys
