27. I hope you are right. But Woody Johnson appears to be on his best owner behavior in the early days of each new regime. Why is that? Because, other than Adam Gase, who was not his hire, the Jets HC hires have universally praised by the media. If it starts not to work out, he starts involving himself in football decision even though he should know by now that football team management is not his forte. If things are going swimmingly, he remains in the background. Once things start to go south, he abandons strategy and involves himself.

31. I agree with you as far as the assessment on Glenn regarding whether he would take the job or not if he got a bad vibe. Personally, I wanted him over Vrable. Glenn bleeds green and takes pride in that and that’s something that’s been missing for quite some time

33. Like you, I may be wearing Jets green colored glasses, but I’m hoping Woody took a look in the mirror and said, “if I truly want a winking football team, I need to go about my job differently”.
