MISSING PIECE: New Orleans Saints Can SOLVE O-Line Concerns By Signing Mekhi Becton

The New Orleans Saints’ free agency is off and running, but Mekhi becton is still on the market and should be the team’s No. 1 target. Cam Jordan’s return for a 15th season energizes the defense, yet edge rusher remains a focal point under Brandon Staley’s new scheme. Jake Stoll’s signing adds depth to the tight end room, hinting at a dynamic blend of speed and power in the run game.

Mekhi Becton emerges as a potential target to solidify the offensive line. The draft strategy remains flexible, considering future needs over immediate gaps. Names like Tetarioa McMillan, Jahdae Barron and even Tyler Warren could still be in play. New acquisitions don’t necessarily rule out drafting at those positions, as the Saints aim to build a versatile roster.

  1. What truly made the Bum Phillips' Saints' 3/4 D great was the Dome Patrol, stellar linbacker play. Currently there is nowhere near a Swilling, Johnson, Mills, Jackson on this team. Why is there NO commentary on this obvious need of the Saints?

  2. Thank you Ross. Finally, some offensive line news. This is low key high key the most important group that needs attention and rotational players.

  3. I would draft a mid-round guard and go with “best player available” in the first two rounds.

Yo, there is buzz around moving to a 3-4 scheme, so a pure standing LB rusher would make sense

  4. An armchair GM gives the Saints' free agency an F because the moves are perplexing. In reality, rebuilding in the NFL is much harder than in the NBA. The NFL salary cap has made teams not even consider rebuilding and has made all 32 teams competitive. Despite that, only 14 teams make the playoffs every year, but that doesn't mean the same teams make it every year. The Saints are doing things right gingerly, and the future at QB could be Rattler, someone in this year's or next year's draft. Furthermore, the change at head coach is a start, and building a culture begins with a new era of Saints football and leaving the past behind.

  5. Did the New Orleans saints brung all that old trash back this pay close attention to what these scam artists are doing they trying to fool you like they trying to put all these pieces together all the while they know and the offensive line is injury from defensive line cannot stop the run you guys are going out there getting mediocre players and expecting to have big results you ain't fooling me😂

  6. 6and12😂 too many old players offensive line is injury prone trash quarterback 😡 quarterback that scared to take a hit throw too many interceptions have no heart he have no accountability for nothing you got a defensive line that cannot stop the run you got two cornerbacks the suspect you got a head coach the suspect what are we doing here are we really trying to win or we just trying to sell tickets😂

  7. I think the New Orleans saints just trying to sell tickets I really don't think these people really trying to win this play close attention you guys bring all that old trash bag that let me know you ain't trying to win you ain't trying to move on from these ridiculous contracts you guys are crazy Mickey Loomis is still delusional and you ain't fooling me

  8. Not only do they need a quality starting left guard. They need depth, look what happened last year when they lost a couple of starting offensive lineman and there was nobody to back them up. Also I’m not convinced Penning is the solution at right tackle.
