  1. I agree 💯% with u sampson 👍🏼 its been weird for fans with the tank stuff but i enjoy hearing ur positive takes n give us hope for the future
    ✌🏻❤&🏀

  2. What are ur thoughts on trading ochai mogbo and battle for a future 1st? Ochai is in year 4 of his rookie deal next year he I think is biggest trade candidate. Then replace them with Robinson Lawson Rhoden. You get a future first to work with and cheaper 3 players since ochai is over 6 mil. Ochai is a lottery pick and mogbo was a 31st overall we can get a lottery pick back for the two of them for sure.

  3. I agree if Jamal’s offensive shot diet expands during the offseason he will become a better passable player. Floaters and getting to the basket are a primary staple of Houston basketball but if he progresses in his mid range bag with maybe a fadeaway for separation or being able to get into his defenders body more he would thrive more as a versatile point guard.

  4. I asked a question for the last Q&A pod about specific skills the rooks could work on, this fantastic deep dive goes so far beyond what I could've rightfully hoped for as an answer. Thanks for the thoughts and analysis!

  5. Basically your analysis says: All of these prospects are actually less valuable than they appear, Mogbo (unlikely to acquire the offensive skills to be a wing) Shead, isn't the "nail", Battle good if open, not good enough if not, and unlikely to meet their potential. Given that why are we not trying harder to tank?

  6. Watching Jakobe he gives me really young shai vibes. And Ive chosen to believe in the self creation and handle exploding in the next few years. I really like this kid and think he's got a higher ceiling than any young players on our roster. You just gotta believe 😂

  7. 10:45 – Ja'Kobe, is a 20 year rookie that plays like a 7 year vet , it's a must watch and review (hopefully he can play few more games), even though the box score doesn't suggest it. The Film describes his game better than any analyst.

His defensive is already strong enough to the point where you feel good about letting him develop his offense for bigger roles.

  8. I’m sorry but if you are higher on Gradey than Ja’kobe, you are truly clueless ?!! if you think “Gradey’s defense has come around” you haven’t been watching the games!

  9. 25:29 – Chomche is the "high school" draft selection, like Kevin Garnett in 1995.

and now, in 2025, we're looking like the 1996 draft equivalent.

  10. These Talented rookies keep me watching the Raptors lately. Injuries have given our starters very little time to gel. Now we are seeing in the second half a glimpse of our potential. What is a brand new rookie going to bring that we don't already have? Our bench is solid and throw in B.I and a healthier starting 5 and pick from your own obviously talented group of rookies.

  11. Not a fan of Jonathan Mogbo yet. Terrible hands around the basket and has no shot. There are better talent in this years draft that can over take him.
