Barcelona and Osasuna are reportedly both unhappy with the new date for their rescheduled fixture after the RFEF confirmed it will now be played on March 27.

The original game had to be called off at the last minute following the tragic death of first-team doctor Carles Miñarro Garcia and has now been rescheduled for next week.

However, it’s a date that suits neither team, as it falls just before the end of the current international break.

As such it means that both teams could be without key players for the match and so both plan to appeal the decision, according to multiple reports.

Barca may have to cope without Ronald Araujo and Raphinha for the game, as they will be on international duty in South America, while Osasuna face losing Flavien Enzo Boyomo.

The two clubs apparently have 48 hours to appeal the decision, but it won’t be easy to find another date. Indeed it seems the last week of the season may potentially be the only free spot left.
