Probably, but it’ll probably help Brock in the long run. (See: Bengals recent contracts)
I think it helps his agent focus on a lengthy contract with plenty of guaranteed money, which would be ideal for Brock if he is going to be the franchise quarterback for the 49ers

Just pay him!!!! We’ve already gotten our moneys worth these past 3 season! The kid came came in as a 3rd string rookie and was prepared and poised enough to take us to the NFC championship! Then recovered from his season ending injury to follow up with not 1 but 2 come from behind playoff wins to take us to the Super Bowl! He’s earned every penny let’s go!
