It really sucks that he was on an upward projection and then Nielsen happened.
Shoulda kept him. Hes not a bad player, just had a bad year in a bad defense run by a terrible DC. Also should have never been instructed to gain 15 lbs as it clearly negated his attributes of speed/ quickness.
I can easily see his career take off in a defense that is competent and has better players around him.
Yeah Jags defensive coaches ruined his time here.
Good luck to him. Great guy and solid player. I think more stable coaching would’ve turned him into a top half safety. Hope he lands in a better spot where he can succeed

He’s still way better than any safety we currently have employed. Would have liked to hold on to him to see if he could have had a bounce back year.
I wish him good luck, he is a hell of a player
Ended up still taking a prove it deal…wish we would’ve kept him. He’s a victim of terrible hires. A lot to be proven but I feel like we’ve finally set a solid foundation w our FO & staff.
