  2. It’s time to start questioning the leadership group on this team. They’ve overseen the past three March collapses. It’s their job to make sure the team is prepared and ready to go and compete every night. Instead, the team looks like they just don’t give a shit. Two is a coincidence but three is a pattern.

  3. So listening to the post game interviews last night, Todd spoke about guys not wanting to get in lanes to block shocks. So I took a look at this season’s blocked shots/60min. Obviously Tarasenko is low on the list and I want to fire him into the sun. Berggren is last on the team which isn’t great considering he should be doing everything he can to make the team, he isn’t Kane where he doesn’t have to play D. Top 3 in blocked shots is AlJo, Seider, then Ed which isn’t suprising.

    But, seider hasn’t looked so good lately. I can’t put my finger on it, but I’m not super encouraged by his play

  6. Had a dream I played floor hockey with Razor and met McLellan, weird. Never had a red wings dream before

  8. The third period of the Griffins game was the most exciting hockey I’ve seen live this year. Great tilt followed by a quick power play goal by Lombardi, and then a dog fight 6 on 5 at the end with a ton of chances. Ended up being a loss, but entertaining as heck.

    Textbook example of using a fight to get your team buzzin’

  10. Buffalo has to be wondering what to do next year also, but they don’t have a shiny prospect pool to brighten their future.

    So maybe I ask what it would cost to get Dahlin. I’m okay giving up ASP, Danielson and AlJo and possibly a pick. I may be overvaluing our prospects here and inter-division trades can be weird, but we matchup well.

  11. If Yzerman doesn’t clean house in the off season I’ll be disappointed. He has the cash to do it and it’s clear who’s dead weight.

    Easier said then done though but the passive approach…seems like it’s time to change gears now
