This New York Rangers team has been playing quite bad lately but they managed to pull off a very important win against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday. Rangers are in a tight race for a Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference and need every point they can possibly get.

  5. Yesterday was yet again another VICTORY BY IGOR! It's insane that people complain about Igor making too much money when the guy is in a virtual shooting gallery every game. It's like fans expect him to stop every shot. Every goalie let's in a bad shot now & then. Some goals are lucky deflections off skates & knees etc. I was watching the Canadian TV feed & they commented about the Rangers D passing the puck laterally a lot. Then they noted how all 3 forwards were at the Canucks blueline which required a 60 foot pass! A good breakout requires fast short passes to be effective not 60 foot passes from blueline to blueline unless the forward is completely in the clear. I remember Brian Boyle complaining in another game that there were too many lateral passes & not enough forward passes. Sounds & looks like poor coaching to me. That pass from Laf to Jonnie on the second goal was absurd. Laf played his best game in a long time. Boeser goal? A perfect example of why K'iller must be traded. Ugg!

  6. Disappointing? That’s an understatement! This team core needs to be blown apart. The D is horrible. No chemistry. Players ghosting. In my opinion. A full rebuild is needed. For the rest of the season, call up players from wolf/ farm team.

  7. i'm so tired of this team and their bullshit. Saturday's game was the first game i actually missed by choice and didn't care. Normally i tape the games, try to avoid spoilers and watch later when i have free time. but i don't care anymore. I honestly thought we were going to win it going into this season. I thought we had a strong core and the flaws exposed in the playoffs would be locked down and when you've got Igor anything is possible. But honestly, fuck these guys. There, I said it. There isn't a single player on this team I can rightfully stand up and say "that's my dude." There's a few who i am hopeful for. But I've never been so disgusted with a Rangers team like this even when we had the doldrums of the 2000s before we found Henrik. Those teams were bad, but I never felt like they ever quit or didn't care. I don't feel badly for the players or the coaches when they get booed at MSG. I'm not buying anything with a Rangers logo or going to buy a ticket to MSG anymore. They're a listless and miserable team and my breaking point i think was when Tage Thompson rag dolled Lindgren, took the puck from him and carried Adam Fox on his back to glide by JT Miller and score a goal the last time Buffalo dogwalked us.
