It seems like since Dyson Daniels been emerging in Atlanta. It’s like folks are looking at Herb Jones as dead weight since he got injured. We know what he can do when he’s healthy, defensively, the team looks completely different and offensively, when he’s involved and not sitting in the corner. Defenses can’t leave him alone because is he’s a good finisher at the rim and can shoot the 3 ball. Dejounte Murray even said he can liked his potential and was going to help him be even better.

I haven’t seen any Herb disrespect (thank goodness) but his absence definitely doesn’t help. I also think elite level wing defenders are starting to pop up with some regularity so that also maybe dimming the light of what Herb provides. Off the top of my head we’ve seen Thybulle be highly touted then fizzle out, now there’s obviously Dyson, Dort, Kamara, and the Thompson Twins . It’s a “what have you done for me lately” league
