I am so happy for this kid.
This is what I want for the rest of this season. We are obviously not winning the cup this year and it’s time to see what we really have. xoxo hope you are having a good day!
Seemed like he fit in well his first little stint in GR.
Heard nothing but great things about this kid
This is so huge for the overall timeline, this fires me up so much. Item 2, behind shooting on the big ufas, on Steves offseason list needs to be getting Finnie, ASP, MBN, Kiiskinen, Buchelnikov, and Augustine to GR or Detroit by the beginning of next season so that they have the best chance of impacting the 26/27 Detroit roster which is really the start of the window. He already has 3/6 taken care of. huge!
GR desperately needs the talent. Dude looks like he could be a gem.
I just checked his season stats: 37G, 47A for 84 points at 1.53 points per game.
If nothing else right now our pipeline is STILL so stout and strong
what is Finnie’s comparable/ceiling? this year he is putting up 1st/2nd round type numbers in the chl. point totals were similar to cross hanas, and looks like he will be more so a career ahler. similar? or more hype?
Looking forward to getting back to 12 forwards. Viro has been brutal as the 7th D.

Huh, he is almost a year younger than Danielson. I did not recall that, always assumed for some reason it was the other way around. The 37 goals in 55 games kinda stands out, especially since he wasnt drafted as a good shooter.
He’s been so good since his draft. Super excited to see what he can do in GR.
Finding talent late in the drafts is the great equalizer for building a competitive team. If he can even be a 3rd liner for us that is huge. Great to see him head to GR to hopefully take the next step in his development.
