  1. Both are exactly the type of power forward we need to be an elite team. Tobias has been great but PF is definitely the position to get a perfect piece

  2. You don't "subtract" from this core – you "add to it" – in the off season. And PuuuLLLEEZZZE none of this – "trading our core for a superstar" BS – just look around the league and see how well that nonsense pans out.

  3. I don’t expect a drastic change in personnel for another year. Pistons will have to make a serious move to get Cade a legit star running mate. The top of the East isn’t going anywhere and the Pistons can’t stand pat

  4. most nba championship teams have stars who were drafted to the team. as well as the number 2 option. idky everyone assumes that trading for a “solidified star” is the answer when it almost never works for anyone. if duren can consistently score 20 points, which hes starting to get to, he’ll be the second option. ivey was also a 20ppg scorer, thats the suns big 3 but they all like playing with each other and play defense

  5. Keep this core. League envies I bet. Ivey back and 40+ to well over 50 wins next year and then… much like Bad Boys… If an obvious “Mark Aguirre” type thing comes up without hurting them- ala As Aguirre came in and Dantley out- then was lights out! Maybe yes-

  6. Would not make a move this year especially in the first breakout year, especially post cba and breaking of the star market when these guys should be getting paid less and go for less assets

  7. I agree with you ku but I have faith Ivey will at least be ok on the dribble more and adding at least something. Not saying he will be crossing up and cooking guys like rose or Westbrook but even if he was ok at on ball stuff he would be deadly and get him on a cheap contract? Give me that any day upgrade the team somewhere else like a JJJ type of player (really rare but very needed to put the team over the edge) you already said he's a really good catch and shooter that's already more versatile than Westbrook who was a complete liability

  8. How is this even a legitimate topic? You’ve gone from winning 14 games to 40 in a single year. What am I missing here?

  9. It's pretty clear… If a deal comes along that improves the team in the long run, you take it. If one doesn't, you don't. We can be thankful we aren't in a position where people are talking about making a trade just to make a trade like last year.

  10. You dont trade JI for Booker! I can't accept that without understanding, your chasing something that dosent exsit! No team has traded from their core and won, in the last 25 years! No team has done it! So we arent gonna break the mold on that…

  11. Only 3 teams with multiple all stars have a winning record and the Pistons are tied with one team, the Bucks and 6 behind the Celtics… The Celtics, the Warriors, the Nuggets, never traded from their core… Dont be stupid Detroit

  12. Keep the core. Don't waste money for big trade that doesn't work. Now the Pistons are a team with good chemistry. They are maybe in the playoffs. There is a good chance to reech round 2.
