3. No not all, underperformed with talent year 1, terrible year 2 , terrible year 3. 32 wins year four isn’t enough. Theres no question that we could being this and more with any other coach.

4. Personally I say no thanks to him coming back as head coach. I like the idea of him being an assistant coach though, even if I doubt he would be down for that. I think he could do well at being the good cop to a more stern hard-nosed coaches bad cop.

5. It seems like Billups has struggled with vets and succeeded somewhat with developing players. Norman Powell and Robert Covington seemed to have totally bagged their games under Billups while Toumani, Shaedon and Scoot seemed to have responded well. It would be ironic if Chauncey got a job on a vets heavy team like the Clippers.

6. Your analysis of the Blazers’ post All-Star schedule / opponents seems to indicate these wins are really just Fool’s Gold. This team needs a better coaching staff in place this summer. It’s a good time to part ways with Billups. He might have done enough to earn a new gig next season.

7. Take Avdiya out of the team, they are in almost last place in the league, the coach is the same coach from years past, we haven't seen the team really improve,antill this year, the difference is Avdiya and Kamara, is that enough for another contract for Billups, not sure

8. I think it depends on where you think the team should be at this point. It also depends on whther or not we think starting over with a team that is clearly progressing. My opinion is we keep him for another year.

11. There is nothing worse then being a losing team with a lot of veteran and older players, just to state the obvious. I like the youth and energy. There is a lot of hope, and unpredictability, for development with players that come to the league so young. On a personal level I would like to play for a coach like Billups. How do the players feel?

12. This young team would thrive on a fast-paced transition offense and defense, CB doesn’t’ play that way. Put CB on “family leave” for the rest of the season and see what Bjorkgren can do with the pace.

17. yes he deserves credit . but he is not adjusting to the on court and opponents. no feel of the game and subs . and not making enough to give the offense good setups . these handoffs all the time..

    Also, its not like Phil Jackson or Pop are waiting for the phone call.

20. The Blazers should 100% pick up the team option and give it another year. If they don't its fucked up. They tore the team apart after he signed and since then everyone has pointed the finger at him instead of Cronin. He has totally changed the culture into a defense first/next man up mentality and I personally love it. Trade Grant (if possible) and probably trade Ant (only if you can get good value for him though). He deserves to see his contract through

21. He’s done well with the defense and I’d argue he’s earned the Team Option, but not an outright extension. Let the team make some moves this summer that benefit the team as a whole and his coaching style, see how the team works in 2025-2026 THEN make the decision about an extension.

22. 2026 is the Summer of Extension. Cronin will have over 100m in team salary to allocate. While the GM is handing out big contracts for players, might as well reset the Billups 5 year program.

23. The two top players, DA and JG barely play. We tend to forget that.

24. I don't agree, Mike.They started winning with the blossoming of Camara and the Deni pickup. Had nothing to do with CB. Some of the game decisions with substitutions,eg, and game planning for teams still worries me and speaks to him still being an neophyte. It would be most telling how he would prepare for playoff games. Can you imagine him learning how to coach playoff basketball. I think his offensive schemes are very limited. The zone he keeps plodding out is total fail. Players also seem to get lost when they play against one. He needs to go.
