Once Travis Kelce retires, how do you feel about Noah Gray stepping into his role?

  1. I love Noah, but not sure he has TE1 capability. Not sure he has the top end athleticism to become the TE1. I think he’s perfect in his current TE2 spot.

  2. With how these college TE’s have been looking in recent years I think we will just try our luck with the draft

  3. I dunno but if I saw that greasy smile from accross the bar I’d let him buy me a drink or three

  4. Kelce might be the best TE ever. He is without a doubt in the top 3. Expecting that out of Gray doesn’t seem reasonable.

  5. Noah Grey is a very good Te2. We’d need an elite Te1. I mean. There’s no real replacement for Kelce, but I’d bet we could find a very good reasonably good one.

  6. I think he has it in him. I don’t think he will be on Travis’ level, but that’s not easy for anyone to live up to. I do however think he will be a top tier TE1 once he has been given the opportunity.

  7. I’m more than good with it. 87 taught Gray a lot. Gray has already proven himself to be at the very least, an acceptable NFL TE.

  8. I think he’s good enough be our TE1. The offense scheme has to change once he’s gone either way, very very unlikely we have someone able to put up production like that anytime soon. The scheme hopefully will change next year anyway.

  9. Better than I would have at this year’s start. The psychic bond with Pat hasn’t developed like it has with Kelce but that may never happen again. Just gotta like him for size and speed down field.

  10. It’ll be hard to match what Kelce has done, obviously. I think Gray has shown good flashes, and has learned from the best. I’ll be curious to see him get the Kelce type play calls hopefully a little more this season and going forward, but I think we will definitely have to supplement with a good WR1.

  11. if our WR trio plays up to their potential- he’d probably be fine as a TE1 in this offense. That is a lot of if’s and injuries tho

  12. Noah is paid like a TE2 because that is the best spot for him. I don’t think they will ultimately look to one TE to replace Kelce’s production, but an aggregate of options at the position. Ultimately, it appears Rice will also take a majority of that short to intermediate field work in breaking zones.

  13. He’s good enough to be TE1 but not a focal point. Love his progression so far, who knows what he can do at that spot

  14. I mean, maybe? I don’t think anyone could be a TE1 when Kelce is still around, so I’m not sure why so many people are so confident saying he’s TE2 only. All I know is that when he is targeted (which isn’t that often) he’s pretty clutch. So, even if we got some badass TE1, I’d keep him around.

Plus, in camp there was a lot of buzz that Jared Wiley was going to be heir apparent when Kelce hit the exit. I heard a lot of praise about his performance in camp… but then he seemed to disappear. What do we make of that?

  15. I think he will make a great T1. Kelce is special. You have to remember any team would take Gray. He is great.
