1. Good for Captain Kirk and his family. Feel good story. Great catcher. Love to see him frame those pitches. But my favourite part is when he runs the bases. It gives us “husky” dudes hope.

6. I know Blair and Barker were kind of shitting on him getting signed for reasons, but right now, for all of Kirk’s flaws, he brings stability behind the plate. He has intangibles that are crucial to the team’s success (holding/picking runners, respect with pitching staff, framing, etc.) His offence and baserunning are what they are: above average hitting for the position (though streaky), and he’s slow rounding bases. It’s mostly only notable when the team dries up and isn’t producing.

   I turned from a doubter to believer. I’ve seen how valuable he is to the club and their future success.

7. Absolutely heartwarming. Kirk’s daughter is precious and loves giving out kisses to her fam. I just teared up a bit tbh… 2 more sleeps.
