Damn, I really liked what I saw out of him in spring training and I have little faith in Marte.
But Marte also feels like a big clubhouse guy.
Praying he can somehow go unclaimed and be stashed in Syracuse. Don’t think it’s likely, but one can hope.
Phantom IL Marte to keep Canario around. He’s just gonna end up there sooner or later anyways so getting ahead of it is like killing two birds with one stone
He had an amazing spring training game yes, but I just want to remind everyone the Mets best player last spring was Zach Short.

Can’t forget Marte’s post season performance. There are intangibles behind the numbers. Marte also remains a trade option later in the season.
