Sticking point was Titans wanted the 2026 1st but Giants wouldn’t do that and said they would continue to monitor. After hosting Cam, Titans were so impressed with him they raised their ask to also include the 2027 1st. Giants haven’t caved and probably won’t. Browns also interested but seem to be pivoting to Kirk. As been reported, Titans will likely stick and pick.

If the Giants gave the Titans the 2026 R1 at the combine they probably have the 1st pick. As a Giants fan I’m not expecting them to move to 1 but let’s see how desperate Schoen gets. Giants would need to at least include the 2026 and 2027 R1 picks to get the Titans attention. That’s where things stand. #StupidColtsGame

Yeah, this Slick Rick guy pops up randomly with stuff every now and then that often ends up proving true. So I think I believe it.

  3. Rickey is not perfect but he’s clearly got insider sources and gets more right than wrong.

Giants really thought they could move up to the #1 pick with few day 2s 🤣

  4. No chance they do it now since the Giants brought in Wilson+Winston but that’s okay because I want to roll the dice on the Ward. At #3 we are looking at a CB who would be CB2. No thanks

  5. I was pro-trade back for most of this off-season, but I’m perfectly fine with this now. I’m glad we weren’t going to let anyone low-ball us, because regardless of what you think about the overall talent of this draft class, you *never* move off OVA for anything less than a king’s ransom that gets initial reactions as a massive overpay from fans and the media.

  6. Three 1sts would be nice! Still might. With the Russ signing I think they stay though

  7. Pretty much we love Ward but if you are willing to give up your future for a shot at a franchise QB then we will do it

  8. prettyricky is hit or miss, but he’s nailed a couple wild ones. Also likes to disappear when wrong.

  9. I’m just glad that Cally, Amy, Borgonzi and Brinker (if he’s involved) all seem to agree on Ward.

  10. This was pretty much the dream scenario that unfolded. The Titans were willing to move the pick but they more they met with Cam the more they loved him as a prospect, so the asking price went up. If the Titans really didn’t want this pick I think a middle ground would have been struck already. Considering the Titans made a significant bump in asking price I don’t think this is some bluff or negotiating tactic.

Like we’ve said countless times during the process, if the Titans actually love this guy and take him let’s support and see what happens. That appears to be the case here.

  11. Damn bro I’m all abroad the ward train but if someone matches that asking price you have to take it. That’s a fuck you overpay

  12. Honestly that’s fair. I think two is plenty, but I’d rather us stand firm and say that’s our price and were fine taking Cam if not.

  13. Finding a good QB is so difficult that no deal is worth giving one up. Cam is worth the gamble. Even if he sucks in the NFL, I wouldn’t regret taking the chance on him. This franchise needs to find a great QB.

  14. One hand secure a generational talent; the other secure a potential dynasty. Think big

  15. Not to mention this trade down could still get you shedeur. Which, I know they’re separating but still.

  16. This is the pretty Rickey guy that makes dozens of predictions and deletes all the ones that are wrong. Who cares.

  17. I want Ward, but I’d even trade back to #21 with the Steelers for that kind of package.

  18. So by far the single most valuable asset of the trade – NYG ’26 1st- was never on the table. Not sure why you’d characterize this as “almost got done”.
