19. Any team is gonna struggle without their top two players, but lose with a little dignity at least. You oughtta at least be able to find some depth guys who can play half decent defense, but it really does seem like this team's best defensive strategy is to just keep the puck in the O-zone and never have to play D. That stops working when your best offensive guys are out. 4 games without Draisaitl, 18 goals against. Even with the best scoring teams in the league lose more often than not at that pace.

20. Oilers had a chance to draft Jesper Wellstastdt but choose to trade down for Bourgault (22nd overall pick) and also the 90th overall pick which was Luca munzenberger. “Brilliant” moves by Ken holland. And not matching to offer sheets just brilliant

31. The Oilers are going nowhere fast. Whoever plays them in the 1st rd lucked out big time. Skinner is not the guy. Pickard is not the guy. They have no guy.

33. The guys hung Pitchard out to dry. Was impressed by the play of Rodrigue. He held his ground and made several great saves. Unfortunately, when the rest of your team in front of you isn't playing worth a damn the opponent will eventually score on you.
    If McDavid and Draisaitl don't get healthy soon, Oilers can kiss the playoffs goodbye.
    Great win by the Kraken.
