Not really… it’s all performative by a corporation.
Literally 1/4 of the season wearing pink.
No.
Susan G. Komen is and was mostly a scam.
No.
I miss pre-Trump America.
If I remember correctly, the NFL got a lot of bad publicity because they would sell pink gear under the idea that the money would go to breast cancer research – the NFL pocketed most of the money and it didn’t set with people that the league was using cancer as a money making opportunity
Not as much as I miss all those players
i always thought the players did cool stuff with the color and stories. but…certainly didnt like that it seemed like typical Big Corp stuff where theyre trying to sell u that they give a shit
(PS this is one of the reasons i cant stand all that stuuuupid hate aimed at Bears ownership because they actually do care about shit, and hire football people for football stuff. that’s a fantastic arrangement)
When the refs started throwing pink flags I was out.
It raised awareness. But didn’t the NFL.pockey a ton of the merch sales that came from it?
Yeah I sure do miss billion dollar corporations exploiting breast cancer and sick people to make more money for their yachts
I’m pretty sure pink is illegal now.
Kinda lol my boy Hester looked good with a little pink flair
I miss football
I thought they still do that goofy stuff? I know the Kommen foundation is, like, the devil, but I don’t see what’s wrong with wearing pink just to shout out cancer survivors.
Because other cancers wanted their cut to be honest. Started as a breast cancer thing.
Some moron was insecure with his masculinity and couldn’t handle it being “shoved down his throat”.
I used to be dripped out in pink for my U15 lacrosse games
No.
Every day! I get they want to bring awareness to all cancers but the pink gear during October just hit different!
No – most people said it was an eye sore at the time too
