Should Detroit Lions fans be Concerned?

1. A healthy Lions team with an average schedule went 12-5 and made the NFC Championship game in 2023. An unhealthy Lions team with one of the hardest schedules went 15-2 in 2024. A healthy Lions team in 2025 means bad news for the teams on their schedule. Bank on it.

4. The big free agency move or not is a branching path. Do we sacrifice our future for the now or try to have greater maintained success (signing our own great players) while not raising our Super Bowl chances in the now?

   I’d prefer maintained success because free agency is always more risky overpaying. And quite honestly I’d rather have more years of a Super Bowl chance than a greater chance in just the next couple seasons.

   No wrong answer though, but going full doomer? I think people forgot how many injuries ravaged the defense. An injury season like that should be an outlier and not happen again

   I am not worried about the Lions either. People need to remember how well the Lions did with a broken up defense.

11. Lions fans have to stay the course, the off season is is not done. We have to wait and see what the draft show and how Brad Holmes has up his sleeves. Patience fans . Josh Allen Patrick Mahomes (ugh hate the chief), Lamar Jackson, Mathew Stanford. Over Jared Goff. I agree with Steve . Was not a fan of that trade.

13. our players are better healthy this roster is strong . better depth.. I think most people are concerned about the new co ordinations. people are uncomfortable with change and the unknown.. I think that's where the majority of the concern stems from

15. We are now getting where the Rams were with Goff. When you get to the last 4 teams in the playoffs, the rush comes fast. When it does, he turns into watching the rush and happy feet. Mobile qb is needed when your the last 4 teams in the playoffs now. Let's not be the 49ers.

22. Many people seem to forget how strong this team looked last year when they were healthy. For some reason they can’t remember how many more bodies they had to rotate, much less the talent lost.

26. I believe in Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell. We had a bit of a setback due to injuries which everyone seems to forget, but we will bounce back.

    Try not to forget that we had two teams worth of defensive injuries and Brad Holmes had to replace a bunch of people that got let go and he has to pay a few of our superstars coming up real soon. Just let the man cook.

27. They'll win 10-12 games. Will bringing the band back be enough who knows. Bringing back guys like Davenport really irked me. How did they get better? I dont think Reed is better than Davis. One person was a #1, and the other is a #2 😂😂

29. I agree that they are better than last year, and that their schedule will be tougher, however, without 15 or 16 guys on on IR list they will be 15 and 2 again

34. Have you guys ever watched the stand up comedy show special on Netflix Beautiful Dogs done by Shane Gillis? There is a part of the show where he talks about George Washington , this reminds me of the conversation about Goff and Stafford, there are some uncomfortable truths. At some point, no matter what side you are on you gotta go ehhhhhh😂
