I think losing Adames the person has hurt us more than Adames the player. This was the problem in 2020 and 2021 before the Adames trade. Just a team of dudes with no emotion. They are losing and it seems like no one cares (when obviously they do). Someone needs to step up. Rickie tried today, but a player needs to as well. I don’t know who but someone needs to be a voice.
I’ve been heartbroken by the crew, I’ve been angry at them, I’ve been shocked, I don’t know if I’ve ever been embarrassed.
This, this is embarrassing. This is a new feeling and I hate it.
Silver lining is we know these guys aren’t this bad. This won’t continue forever…..I hope.
Milwaukee sports are struggling
Well that was certainly a game of baseball alright. Again.
Baseball sucks
Of all the Brewers home openers that I’ve been to….that was one of them.
Maybe tomorrow things might turn around.
If they give up less than 10 runs that would be a step in the right direction.
Truly abysmal pitching situation. Desperately need to get guys back. Very bad vibes to start at home this bad
Its 4 games into this season and the Brewers have recorded a grand total of three outs while not trailing
It’s hard to imagine a worse start to the season than this
2024 White Sox 0-4
2025 Brewers 0-4
White Sox were competitive in 3 of their first 4 games.
Maybe it’s not the torpedo bats after all, huh?
I know it’s early but I’m already tired
My job isn’t to win championships. – Mark A
The pitching is atrocious yes, but holy shit it’s like their plate discipline dissipated entirely. They just swing at everything, Frelick, Turang, and somewhat Mitchell have been okay, but the big bats are MIA.
Have we considered asking our pitchers nicely to stop throwing low 90s fastballs down the middle of the plate?
March is over, onto April!
Maybe they’re trying for the Major League plot by starting this bad.
From 20 runs, to 12, and now 11. Progress!
Embarrassing
2003 Tigers had a -39 run differential through 10 games
2025 Brewers are -32 through 4 games
If past performance predicts future results, this 0-4 season means either:
1. We finish with fewer than 70 wins, or
2. We win more than 95 and also the division
Yelich needs to play to the level of his bloated contract and be a leader on the team.
I know the popular opinion here is that Adames being gone is mostly the reason… Ummm HELLO?! The pitching has gave up 47 runs in 4 games. You think Adames and his personality and bat would make up for that?!
I agree that there should be some emotion… but the team needs to find it. Someone will step up. For all we know it could be Wild Bill.
Bottom line is our pitching is suffering from so many damn injuries already. Lets revisit in a month.
Guys, I am sometimes a knee jerk doomer, but when I am willing to step the fuck back and be realistic here on a matter… it should be worth something.
But ya… this pitching staff… WOOF.
The game wasn’t ideal but I was excited to be there. I enjoyed the sunshine and reflected on Bob, baseball, and life a bit.
I’ll start to get concerned when we have a rotation that is more settled and still misfiring, it sucks we are starting so spectacularly bad. Good thing we go again tomorrow, 0-0
