  1. Can’t watch baseball. I tried today and realized why. For a MLB manager to pull a pitcher after getting 3 outs and no runs up 4-1 is just absurd. The game has jumped the shark. Marlins are terrible and a high school team but to have a manager lose a game for them is really crazy.

  2. Resilient game, but we got very lucky with some iffy defense, and some lackluster energy.

Pete showing off why he’s worth it, so impressed with him defensively and his plate awareness has increased ten fold; not going after those sliders outside, Gary mentioned it on the broadcast, he’s looking for specifics and seeing the full field.

Baty and Vientos need to calm down and lock in, Acuna looks great. And out of everything I was worried about coming into the season, pitching has been great. Max Kranick was great yesterday, Diaz looks good, and big B with the close today.

Batters will wake up, it’s early, but sloppy defense cannot continue, you could feel Keith’s ire…

  3. I was a little worried until THE POLAR BEAR crushed one, I don't know if anyone else agrees with this but whenever Pete starts a comeback with a clutch hit or homer it starts the entire lineup making clutch hits or plays, it's like he's key that starts all the engines on this team, I'm so freaking glad we kept Pete
    LETS GO METS

  4. They can’t be inconsistent if they want to challenge. One game they look like real contenders, the next it looks like the Mets we all really know and love.

We should be jumping on the chance to widen the gap with a terrible Atlanta start. One day we can’t pitch, the next we can’t hit then we suddenly play terrible defense. Hopefully they click more once they come home. A win is a win.

  5. Sloppy game – esp. on D. Not sure if I've seen them play worse on D. Alonso saved the day. I think he's really enjoying not being the only big bat we got now — pressure is off with Soto with the high expectations. Vientos needs to step back up. He's AWOL.

  6. No alonso we would be 0-6 just like the braves has been huge looks like mvp already however mark vientos what a huge regression guy looks bad game after game hope he finds some rhythm or it’s gona be bad for him really bad if he doesn’t

  7. This team is playing awful .vientos believes his hype so he thinks he has nothing to prove and baty is just being baty .and lindor always guaranteed to have terrible first half .marte in left Nimmo in center and Soto in right that should be the outfield

  8. Thank god for resigning Pete he’s so good when you need a clutch bat and always seems to make the big plays, our pitching has been great so far but we need to tighten up the at bats and guys need to step up but it’s very early in the season and Mets started slow last year and we almost made the World Series so I’m not concerned

  9. The Mets need to stop acting like they're already world champions.
Cease celebrating wildly after every hit or home run.
This is going to be a long grind.
Check your arrogance at the gate.
Also, Vientos, get ur head out of ur ass.
You got too much talent to jake it.
Nice play by Baty in the 10th.

  10. Big Meat Pete .. Pay him whatever u need to after the 2 years. You paid Soto almost 800 million pay big meat pete. Hes on fire
