Yes, he was in nba younger than jokic was. But he wasted 2 seasons with silas and we are still not a good 3pt shooting team. He is already a way better defender than Joker has ever been. Don't sleep on the potential.

He credited Silas with training him to run Point, fyi. In the same interview he said he had a great relationship with him and that fans didn’t understand the situation.
He still needs to go back to being efficient like he was last season
