I honestly feel bad for Dylan, it has to be tough to handle the pressure of being the captain of your home town team, especially when things aren’t going to plan.
I like many have been critical of his play lately but it’s also easy to forget these guys are humans and constantly get blasted with “you’re not good enough” has to wear on you mentally.
Man, that loser that comments that Larkin isn’t captain material on EVERY. SINGLE. VIDEO, sure is committed.
Larkin is part of the problem not the solution, it’s sad. Maybe too much losing has taken its toll. He has. Even surrounded by crap most of his career. His GM has failed him. The best thing Wings can do for him and Wings is trade him while he has value and give him a chance somewhere else. This team needs to blown up anyway Mo, Raymond , Simon and Elmer, Johansson, Berggren (if they would ever keep them up in the lineup) are the only players worth keeping in this team. The rest is junk. The Cat can get traded too. Just bottom out for 5 more years and collect prospects. Being in the mushy middle where they keep finishing is useless, they won’t win in playoffs with the roster they have this year or next year. That being said, I think Yzerman needs to go as well. Maybe he can stay vice president and just get a new general manager. Not Draper !!! The wings organization needs better, talent, evaluators, and frankly better people helping develop these kids. Maybe they need to get rid of all these old red wings that are scouts. Honestly, what is Kronwall, Lidstrom, Cleary, Zetteberg , Maltby doing? All these Euro players drafted , except ASP aren’t doing anything overseas and drafting the Russian was a waste of a pick!! Yzerman should have promoted Vrbeek and just been the VP, Ducks will make playoffs before Wings. This team won’t make playoffs for at least 7 more years if lucky.

Larkin cares. He is too physically soft though
