The Montreal Canadiens can make NHL History by being one of the youngest teams ever to make the post-season. Here is how they have put themselves in that position.

  1. Habs absolutely got lucky in that game, but so did the Panthers….. Cats had ample chances to get the 3rd or 4th goal. Instead, they choke ANOTHER 3rd period. That was easily Reinharts worst game of his entire career…. Absolutely atrocious. Got owned by a bunch of kids…. Sad

  2. And let's be fair. The Habs also had a hand in leading Boston to make some of their own history, as one more loss will tie a record of 11 consecutive losses which has stood for 100 years. Go, Habs, go! 😝

  3. Hutson genius level of Hockey IQ mean he doesn't need to be big to defend…he just need to move and position well…like Lidstrom and nobody was talking about his size and body use lol

  4. Well analyzed bro 👌🏿
Who would have bet a dime back in October that the Habs will compete for a Playoff spot 5 games to go?
I wished and dreamed about that.
But those last 30 games felt like Playoff games.
So thx boys for that incredible, exiting season so far.
    Now take the last step.
    Let's go boys!
Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!

  5. The way their team is coming together reminds me of the 2010s Hawks. All of their players are developing at different rates, yet all coming up to the same level at the same time. Marty is proving to be an excellent coach, and clearly the habs development system is running like a well oiled machine. Speaking of which, their still stacked with top prospects. Their top 7 all look like impact NHLers at some point. And Reinbacher and Demidov will likely be game breakers.

  6. This is one of the best analysis I have ever seen, well done. Love the way you break down all the subtleties, positioning & puck battles. It's the little things that make everything possible. Keep it up!

  7. Crazy part about Suzuki is that people consider him not a #1 center and he has Barkov's number in all 4 games against Florida, who is btw a Selke winner and #1 center. That's definitely enough for a consideration for a number 1 center and also top 10 in center scoring?

  8. Just watching how this team plays and connects with each other these last two games in comparison to other teams… they have an impressive gameplan. If they fix the mistakes they're making (which come through practice and experience), they can definitely be a dominant team within a few years.
