The Montreal Canadiens can make NHL History by being one of the youngest teams ever to make the post-season. Here is how they have put themselves in that position.

Power play goals don't give you a minus (fair) BUT empty netters do ?!?!?! 😯 That makes this stat even more useless!
Suzuki got the better of Barkov 4/4 times this season. If you consider how good he is 2-way, he's one of the best centers in the league.
great video suzuki repersents montreal captain very well and team as a whole!
Habs absolutely got lucky in that game, but so did the Panthers….. Cats had ample chances to get the 3rd or 4th goal. Instead, they choke ANOTHER 3rd period. That was easily Reinharts worst game of his entire career…. Absolutely atrocious. Got owned by a bunch of kids…. Sad
And let's be fair. The Habs also had a hand in leading Boston to make some of their own history, as one more loss will tie a record of 11 consecutive losses which has stood for 100 years. Go, Habs, go! 😝
Why do you call them the Haps? Sorry if this is a dumb question I’m new to hockey.
This a goated analysis. Thank you
The first line is working as one. We should name it NICK SLAFCOLESKY.
Hutson could become the best defenseman in history if he gets a better shot and keeps getting better.
Awesome breakdown. I’m super interested in them as of late. That building has been wild. Can’t wait for Demidov next year.
Hutson genius level of Hockey IQ mean he doesn't need to be big to defend…he just need to move and position well…like Lidstrom and nobody was talking about his size and body use lol
Just wait till Demidov arrives. Hutson will be pushing 80 -90 pts. I have a feeling Demidov will fit this team perfectly making everyone better.
Well analyzed bro 👌🏿 Who would have bet a dime back in October that the Habs will compete for a Playoff spot 5 games to go? I wished and dreamed about that. But those last 30 games felt like Playoff games. So thx boys for that incredible, exiting season so far. Now take the last step. Let's go boys! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!
Hutson also started the year with Matheson and he is garbage defensively
Suzuki is a legit 1st C
Suzuki needs to be on Team Canada at the Olympics
If we didn't have montembeault we would still be at the bottom of the league
The way their team is coming together reminds me of the 2010s Hawks. All of their players are developing at different rates, yet all coming up to the same level at the same time. Marty is proving to be an excellent coach, and clearly the habs development system is running like a well oiled machine. Speaking of which, their still stacked with top prospects. Their top 7 all look like impact NHLers at some point. And Reinbacher and Demidov will likely be game breakers.
they're such a fun team to watch
This is a great analysis, detailing how well young players step up if you give them a bit of rope.
Oilers breakdown pls
I like what i see with the habs, would love for them to make playoffs. See what they can do.
Montreal, Ottawa, and St. Louis are on tears right now.
Can't wait for Demidov to join the Habs.
Habs will be the best team in the NHL next season.
hockey psych habs vid 😫😫
This is one of the best analysis I have ever seen, well done. Love the way you break down all the subtleties, positioning & puck battles. It's the little things that make everything possible. Keep it up!
Crazy part about Suzuki is that people consider him not a #1 center and he has Barkov's number in all 4 games against Florida, who is btw a Selke winner and #1 center. That's definitely enough for a consideration for a number 1 center and also top 10 in center scoring?
Just watching how this team plays and connects with each other these last two games in comparison to other teams… they have an impressive gameplan. If they fix the mistakes they're making (which come through practice and experience), they can definitely be a dominant team within a few years.
