Fifth in Offensive Rating and Sixth in Defensive Rating. Is Finch finally cooking??

Wolves are 5th in net rating for the whole season
One of four teams with a top ten offense and defense (last I checked), Iβm assuming you can guess the other three lol
Trade this guy, he sucks
Wolves are so slept on this year coming into playoffs.
The last minute kat trad made our early season rough and we have had a ton of very tight losses. Our record makes us look so much worse than we are
Finchyyyyyyyy
Well this picture is adorable
If only they determined playoff seeding on net rating instead of W-L record, lol. Until we win some close games and regularly beat bad teams, thereβs no bandwagon to ride here. Iβm sure our play-in and/or first round series will be one of multiple close games we piss away in the final minute. Thatβs been by far the most consistent thing all year.
Cleaningtheglass.com has an βexpected winsβ stat based off net rating in non-garbage time minutes and the Wolves have the biggest underperformance in expected wins so far this year. Minnesota βshouldβ already be at 50 wins based on net rating, meanwhile the Lakers βshouldβ only be at 40 or 41.
The good news is net rating is a lot more predictive than record moving forward. The bad news is if that holds true OKC is going to sleepwalk to a championship.
