Even though this is older, it's still very relevant. We traded away a 1st rounder to get off of Smart's contract in hopes of resigning Jaren this summer. Since then our team has fallen off a cliff. Jarens DPOY run is over and his All NBA chances are dwindling leaving the chances of re-signing him this summer in jeopardy

Negative Nelly. Grizzlies have said they plan on striking a deal with Jaren and Santi this off season. They want them both back. This is what has been reported. FO is dead set on extending Jaren and Santi. FO will do what it takes for Jaren
