I agree with mr ford there will be some growth pains are we gonna go 0-13 tho lol probably not
Fellas..happy Sat. I haven’t really thought a whole lot about the coaching changes. I feel real good about Sheppard at DC. Now Morton?? I am not too Sure about what that will look like. But, I feel fine with it because I know coach Dan will be heavily involved with the offense. One thing I want to point out too..this NFC North division is going to be even more competitive than last season. I think everyone has improved. But, all in all not too worried. But I do see probably 2 or 3 less wins due to adjustments that will be made so, we will see! But, we make the play-offs and will make a run. Right now cannot wait for the draft!
He look like Alean not Alim.
When Will and Steve video out? Some 40 yd dash, pass drills, shuttle.
I think this year the Lions are going to win in North again and we are going to be in the super bowl it's not going to be easy but it's going to happen
What’s the goal of every NFL team??? To Win a SUPERBOWL Correct? The Eagles went out got BARKLEY and O / D LINE Stand outs that gave them the win. The Eagles defense gave the NFL a BLUEPRINT on what takes to stop a running QB in the SUPER Bowl. Eagles D LINE OUT PLAYED The K C O LINE. Lions must go and get Tre Hendrickson. THE Lions defense would be either #1 or #2 in the NFC on paper. HOLMES is a good judge of college talent. But can he guarantee that the edge rushers he’s going to draft will be half of the player HUTCH IS. THERES NO GUARANTEE ON DRAFT PICKS. BUT TRE HENDRICKSON IS A GUARANTEE barring injuries. I know one thing LIONS Fans want a shot at a Super BOWL. Holmes wants to be good for years. Lions fans
Want a Super Bowl WIN. GETTING HENDRICKSON WOULD GIVE THE Lions the best chance. In ever sport it takes a good mix of young players and vets to
Win Championship’s. So why doesn’t Holmes want HENDRICKSON???? I guess Holmes wants to be good instead of GREAT.
I'd rather have a 3 year window all in and win at min 1 super bowl than to have a 10 year playoff window and come up short. Ahead of schedule? How when you're paying a QB 50 plus million. They better hit on the draft
Are we aloud to give you our mock drat.
How about one of our home games is going to be over another country
Sorry didn’t know what time you would be on
Love your show but instead of talking to each other like you’re some where else & where’re Eva’s dropping
If you would just have one

Lions are not to see a superbowl Brad to cheap
Sorry Will, I'm with Steve on this one. The transitions from BJ to Morton will not be drastic. Morton helped build the current offense, so the familiarity is there. The transition from AG to Shep will be even smoother because Shep has been here the whole time. Obviously each new season is different. It took last year's offense several games to hit their stride. I would be more concerned if our OC and DC were completely new to the organization.
Will they're all pros, and if Dan didn't think that they couldn't do it, they wouldn't be out there.
Great show for a Saturday night! Covered a lot of interesting topics and gave me a lot to think about.
Hey Willand Steve.. another great show…Shep and Morton are different than the previous co ordinatiors but we still have MCDC and he is a dawg and will keep them rowing the boat in the right direction.I believe in the process and it is the players team . Our core is well built and firm in the culture of lions football. winners win and like Will said we have a team of winners . So as fans lets be ready for some awesome football.
This is going to be a year to remember… GO LIONS
You know what annoys me about these wannabe journalist podcast whatever they are. They all try to say oh I was a coach and I was there and I was that coaching freaking peewee football. Nobody wants to hear that even if you were coaching high school, no one cares so shut up with that. Honestly, I just can’t listen to these guys anymore. They know probably less than what I know.
Will, I have a question for you, you talked about Hutch needing maybe 2 years coming off a major injury because the first year he was trying to get healthy,. You've been in my opinion, more critical of Hooker than Steve, last season he came into camp rusty as hell, not having seen real action in a year and a half due to a college injury, On the NFI list, Hooker couldn't practice in the team facilities, work with coaches or even use the weight room. He was on his own. Why not show the grace you showed Hutch to Hooker and give him last year to learn an offense designed by Goff for Goff. Last season Hooker was always going uphill, he suffered a broken finger during OTAs and a concussion against the Giants in preseason. After a full year of play and practice, Hooker is ready this season to show why Brad drafted him. Honestly, I think he ready to challenge Goff. Unlike most people, I believe the Tennessee offense prepared Hooker for the pro game. Take a look at the 2 guys that followed Hooker, Hooker is on another level.
Hooker took down Alabama and future top of the draft Bryce Young. Microsoft AI summed it up "On October 15, 2022, Tennessee faced Alabama in a high-stakes match. Hooker threw for an impressive 385 yards and five touchdowns, completing 21 of 30 passes. one of the highlights was a 60-yard pass that showcased his incredible skill. the game came down to the wire. with just 15 seconds left, hooker led Tennessee down the field to set up a 40-yard game-winning field goal by chase Mograth, securing a dramatic 52-49 victory for Tennessee. this win ended Tennessee's 15-game losing streak against Alabama and was a defining moment in hooker's season. Huge game, high stakes and Hooker aced it. The best pro prep against a legendary coach and a team stocked with future NFL draft picks.
.
i think we may see the real Hooker, the Tennessee one, in Detroit this coming season, sometimes after the draft.
Steve & Will i totally agree that 'depth' is key. I still think he will go IOL (1st) Edge x 2, and DE. Sprinkle in S Williams at WR and i think its parade time
. Brad is looking for a 10 year dynasty.
