Ryan Poehling stays hot against former team, but Flyers fall to Habs 3-2 | PHLY Flyers Postgame

The Philadelphia Flyers came out sharp against the Montreal Canadiens, scoring in the first 5 minutes and carrying that 1-0 lead into the third period.

But it did not last, as the Habs were able to take control and outshoot the Orange & Black over the final 40 minutes 22-16 en route to a 3-2 win.

Ryan Poehling set a new career high with his 12th goal of the year and added an assist late, but it was Lane Hutson and the Canadiens who got the last laugh with 3 goals in the 3rd and officially eliminated the Philadelphia Flyers from playoff contention for its 5th straight year.

Except for oconnor, these two other clowns don't know hockey, I get it, they want a high draft pick, as a lifelong over 45-year flyers fan I want them to win period. 5 years is enough, the last mgt group screwed this team from the CAP standpoint. now we have to make some positive choices, and this year get a few quality vets to come in and really start to make positive change to this team. I am so tired of the word TANK. People need to go back into their basement with their chips and soda and computer games and leave the rest of the real hockey fans alone. Finally, just because we just might get a high draft choice doesn't mean the player will be good in the pros. class dismissed.
