Yes. Giants could be top 3 pick next year
I’d definitely be tempted but knowing our luck the giants would make the playoffs and the pick would be in the 20’s 😭😂
Considering they get the Giants’ 1st next year, 100% would do it. No matter who is there at #9 and who they are picking earlier, they will still be a top 10 picking team at worst. I think that this draft is pretty low on the truly standout prospects so although there is definitely going to be some great players from this draft, I don’t think the prospects are worth giving up some of the potential options for next year.

Yes please. We’re stuck with Carr, so it would give us 4 of the probably top 45 next year. 34 and 65 could begin the rebuild that would accelerate next year.
I’d do this and wouldn’t think twice. This draft is weak at the top and bottom but has good players in the second, third, and fourth rounds.
They would have seven picks in rounds 2-4 this year. They could trade their fifth and seventh for a fourth and sixth next season.
With that draft capital they could keep rolling over picks until Arch declares for the draft and they’d have the ammo to make the move.
Honestly I wouldn’t mind trading up with the Giants for Hunter. Having him play WR & CB for a few years would help fill the needs until another slot/CB1 can be found

Having 2 first next year in a deeper QB class would be a game changer. We could still pick up 2 starter level players for this year with the 2nd and 3rd. I would do it but I doubt Mickey thinks that far ahead.

4 picks for a single draft pick? That’s a hell of a business for New Orleans. The Saints desperately needs roster depth, so for me it’s a no brainer.

Saints would be bonkers not to take this. With 2 first next year if there’s a prospect you really want you could trade up for him easily
