Why did the New England Patriots essentially give away quarterback Joe Milton?

The Patriots traded Joe Milton to the Cowboys, sending the quarterback to Dallas with a seventh-round pick for a fifth-round selection.   1. Milton was disgruntled. He was agitating for a chance to start. He wasn't starting material-six years of college tape shows that. Doubs is a mentor, Milton was a distraction, not happy with supporting role. Pats did fine to get a 5th round pick.

  2. Probably because he’s a 6th round pick with many reasons to suggest that he’s a STEAL for a 5th round pick. That’s why.
