We just can’t catch a break. Not even sure if I want to watch this game lol
We’re gonna 6-0 this game aren’t we?
I’m so traumatized by this year that I consider it being “day to day” a huge win. At least it’s not week to week.
“Upper body injury”
Well yeah, man got turned into a turtle by the boards. I’d say that’s about as upper body as it gets.
Absolutely shocked it is day-to-day
I don’t really think Horvat did it with any real intent, but I still think it should have been a major. Dude’s been playing over ten years at this point? More than long enough to know better than to make that hit at that spot on the ice.
Glad Midds seems to be mostly ok. Hopefully it’s just soreness that’s soreness and not soreness that is a symptom of a longer term concussion.
Recently watched “game misconducts” on you tube. Included an identical play. Refs called major penalty and reviewed it, then added game. This play should always be called a major then reviewed. It can be up- or down- graded. The “intent” caveat is ridiculous, since almost all penalties aren’t intended. This referee should see zero playoff work.
