Reaction to NHL Mock Drafts For The Boston Bruins

On Tuesday’s edition of Felger & Mazz, the NHL Draft was brought up. With the Bruins being in position to have a high draft pick, the guys discussed some top draft prospects.

  1. Even IF 🐻 were to land #1 OA pick…. Sweeney would still go with local college kid. If they could get either Misa, Martone, Desnoyers, Frondell or O’Brien would consider a good 🐻 draft! But, we know the outcome…local kid or OFF THE BOARD….😏🐻

  2. Misa will not be available, but he would be my #1. I'm not really worried about missing out on him. Every team in the top 10 is going to get a real stud prospect. It's a great draft.

  4. Yeah but with the bruins history, they focus should be on retaining their high(er) picks. What happened to Throton, Seguin, Kessel, and Hamilton? And if they continue to overpay for a few more long-term contracts, they wouldn't even be able to afford to resign a higher pick when they are up…all the monies will be locked up with a few million to buy off the heap. 😝

  10. As someone who follows the draft very closely, this draft is not good and there is a huge drop off in talent after 8 overall so as long as the Bruins get in that range, they’ll get a really good player

  15. And also martone is very inconsistent with his utilization of that size and he’s not a good skater. His comp being the tkachuk brothers is if he hits his absolute ceiling because this player has a low floor. He is considered the least refined out of the top 6 players

  16. Am I the only one who heard Murray say under his breath, Misa Horny. A great Full Metal Jacket reference. I don't think Mazz or Felger heard him either.
