  1. * Bertuzzi took a puck to the face, but returned to the game.
    * Crosby scored a PPG with 15 seconds left in the 1st.
    * The Hawks didn’t put together a complete effort.

  2. I thought the 2nd period was bad but I should have known it would only get worse

  3. A game to forget for Korchinski. Him and Murphy looked awful together this game

  4. was at the game, Korchinski was so bad tonight I would believe he was a Penguins player lol

  5. Had a really good start but the Pens took over by the 2nd. Not fun to be shutout, but Jarry had a good game. Was hoping that we could build off the Sunday win (and it seemed like we were), but just couldn’t.

  6. People saying Korchinski had a bad game, I’d challenge them and say he basically never has had a good game in the NHL. Dude ain’t it, at least yet.

  7. Korchinski is a reminder to never rush a prospect. The CHL rule isn’t an excuse. Probably Davidson’s only mistake tho.

Just gota stay patient with Korchinski. The team should hire a sports psychologist.* (edit: they do have one). It helped Colorado’s Nathan MacKinnon

At least try to copy the Dallas stars organization. They have the best development strategy in the league. If you don’t have a strategy, then copy the best.

  8. Didn’t expect a stellar performance and high intensity from this team at the twilight of the season, but holy shit what a garbage showing.

  9. On the upside, there are only 4 more games until I get to stop watching this team for a while.

  10. The whole team looked like they were individually pulled aside during the first intermission to be told their dog died.

  11. I took a nap after work and accidentally slept through the game. Sounds like the team did too. For a lighter bit of trivia: Kane got an assist tonight for Detroit, putting him at 1339 career points, one ahead of Denis Savard. He’s climbing up the all-time ladder (now 32nd in NHL history), but that’s got to be a notable one.
