OOH WEE !!!! Skenes WHO ? My dudes and dudettes, Manager of the Year Oliver Jose Marmol and his St. Louis Cardinals (the GREATEST team in the league) are like a SLIM JIM … they SNAP that fluke losing streak. It's NO DUH the squad will go 156-6, TAKE the NL Central, MAKE the postseason once again and in six/seven months (depending on when the games are in October/November), POURS CHAMPAGNE and PARTIES with that TWELFTH World Series championship!
A GOOSEBUMPS-worthy top of the third inning. First, Victor Dwanyne Scott II, the 24-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia, gets the offense rolling by OH BABY'ING an RBI triple to center field, driving in Pedro José Pagés and Masyn Blaze Winn! Then, Brendan Michael Donovan, the 28-year-old from Würzburg, Germany, KNOCKS in an RBI single, bringing in Vic.
UH HUH … a FILTHY #SCTOP10 double play in the bottom of the fifth inning as second baseman Brendan Michael Donovan FIRED to shortstop Masyn Blaze Winn who then HURLED to first baseman Alec Michael Burleson! That PROVES the STL is not only the best offensively, but defensively, too.
Call our Redbirds STATE FARM 'cause in the top of the sixth inning they provided some KEY insurance! To kick it off, Alec Michael Burleson, the 26-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, PUMMELS an RBI single to right field, sending Brendan Michael Donovan home. Finally, Pedro José Pagés, the 26-year-old Maracay, Venezuela, native has a SMOOTH MOVE to let UNDISPUTED Most Valuable Player of the League Nolan James Arenado cross the fourth bag!
My followers, HOOT and HOLLER for Sonny Douglas Gray. The 35-year-old from Smyrna, Tennessee with the CY YOUNG AWARD-esque outing of FOUR monster strikeouts in limited action! MAD PROPS go to Steven Jakob Matz, Kyle Yandow Leahy, Joseph Abel "Jojo" Romero and Phillip Louis Maton, all part of the best bullpen in the league, for the GODLY defense.
Heya peeps! If you wanna see my hubby Mitt's comments just go under the "newest" tab.
Mwah!
Isn't the DH supposed to be a reliable bat in the lineup?
Do it for Octavio!!!
go cards
I honestly love what victor Scott has been doing if he keeps it up I see a bright future go cards
This team has potential but damn do we need to make some moves before the deadline this year fr
So Jojo still sux and Contreras needs to go
Crazy how much the Cardinals own Skenes lol.
I like victor at the top. But Wilson needs to not hit 2nd. Birds bats look good. Now we need starting pitching after Sony
To date, there have been 3 "save" situations: 1 was blown, with the other 2 being shaky. Here's hoping that doesn't continue: I like 'em 1-2-3 and over…
The pirates suck
Go cards!
Victor Scott is making some fans
Contreras has made striking out an art form. Sheesh!!! Rally killer!!!
Luken Baker needs to be in the lineup every day! He has learned how to put the ball in play. Potential for 35+ home runs!
